Pourquoi une consultation n’est pas nécessaire
On April 1, 2020, the Ontario Government made a temporary regulation to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak. Ontario Regulation 115/20 exempts all proposals for policies, acts, regulations and instruments from posting requirements under the EBR until 30 days after the declared emergency is terminated.
Détails de la proposition
Details of instrument
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has received Application 60-C-207296 in respect of the lands described as Parcel 11305, Location NT 89, on the northwest part of Otter Lake, in the unincorporated Township of Rudd, in the Community of Ottermere, in the District of Kenora.
The purpose of the application is to sever a vacant 0.44 hectare portion of land from NT 89 to transfer to the abutting west lot described as Location NT 88. This will increase its size from .70 to 1.14 hectares. Retained on NT 89 will be a property of approximately 1.48-hectares in size. Each property contains a cabin serviced by a combination of class 1 and 2 sewage systems and lake water. No additional development is proposed.
The properties are accessed either by boat, snowmobile, ATV or by Via Rail train. The owners use Highway 17 to Highway 596, to Pickerel Lake Road (10 km) and then onto Pelican pouch Landing. They use a trail over Crown land or boat in 15 km across Pelican Pouch to Pelican Portage, and then on to Ottermere. An active CN Railway fronts the properties.
