The Green Belt is a very special part of Ontario that should be protected at all costs. Allowing development on these valuable farmlands and green spaces would be irreversible. It is our duty to protect our environment, not destroy it for the sake of industry and business interests.

I’m not convinced that this act protects the Greenbelt area of Ontario. This area should not be open for business and legislation should protect this important green space “for the people” as this government promised.
