Bill 108 should not be passed. The changes to the Ontario Heritage Act will substantially weaken a municipality's ability to protect historic buildings for properties. This should not be a Provincial decision.

I am concerned that the proposed changes, in addition to the changes in LPAT to make it more developer-oriented will remove the few impediments we have to the wholesale demolition of our built and natural heritage. Once a historic structure is gone it will never come back. Lire davantage
