A review of the site proposal appears to show a number of encroachments on "residential areas" and "institutional use" zoning. (see attached map - areas north-east and north-west of site location: new residences exist which are not shown in image; 1231 Barry Line Rd. is zoned IR)

In an area that has as much freeflowing water as the area that this proposal is in it does not seem sensible to allow the spreading of human waste on the ground.

We are very opposed to this proposal, due to its location. It is in beautiful cottage country as well as a nearby neighbor to our permanent home. People with property in the surrounding areas are certain to be affected by the smell of sewage.

If this is a safe site why not let it go? Septic waste has to go somewhere. I understand that it’s “not in my backyard” BUT it has to go somewhere. If it is environmentally proven fit by the Ministry than it should be ok.

I live in the area and am down lake from the proposed septic field and am opposed to this happening so close to a body of water in fear of runoff and leakage.
hi....I live just down hill from the proposed site,I am concerned the run off will affect my water quality.
Also the amount of kids that play in the field right below the site.
Why was I not contacted by anyone as I live within the zone of waste run off.

Still, other residents think that septic systems contain the septage in a sealed tank in the ground.
