The proposed waste disposal site-processing and transfer facility (019-1466 and 019-1444) for 633 Coronation Drive is a very bad idea. There is a food processing plant right beside it. The water treatment plant in the area causes enough horrible smells in the summer. Lire davantage

This is a residential area, many families with children, schools, community centres, etc make up this community. Along with wildlife, trees, river, streams, the Highland Creek Park and the surrounding area is a beautiful forest which is recognized as an ‘environmentally significant area’. Lire davantage

We DO not want this in our neighbourhood. We already live in close proximity to the Power Plant and want to enjoy our life by the lake without the additional waste, the daily trucks delivering waste. The addition to the greenhouse gases is NOT welcome in this neighbourhood.

I cannot believe the pollutants that will be put into the air as a result of this facility. They need to at least design filters to eliminate these toxic contaminents from entering the air before they plan for this development. Lire davantage

This is not an acceptable scenario for a residential community. As a local resident and tax payer I am completely opposed. Excessive truck traffic and airborne particulates from the plant itself. Not something that should be right in the midst of a residential area.

From what I've read, this company hasn't consulted with the local residents at all. No public meetings, no feedback or even a Q and A session. That is wrong. Community partenrship is the way to go for these environmentally sensitive projects. Lire davantage
