Cutting development fees will hurt municipalities. They need the fees to pay for services for new developments. Houses will sit empty if there are no services like sewage, utilities, garbage etc. Lire davantage

Definately against this. Our governments need funding and the developers Doug is looking to help are elite 1% who are making hordes of money already. They have the room for absorbing the costs. The government should be using their tools to force the developers to play fair ball.

Please accept my comments in opposition to Bill 23. Bill 23 was passed without sufficient consultation and will result in my property taxes increasing. Markham has estimated that property taxes will increase 50-80%! I, along with most Ontarian's, cannot afford increased property taxes. Lire davantage
