Please reconsider Bill 5. We have done the work and established rules and regulations and committments to ensure development is done the right way with limited harm. Special Economic Zones will cause unforseen (and costly) problems in the future. This is not the way forward.

The proposal is not acceptable . It does not have sufficient detail about consultation as partners with First Nations in the zones. There is little detail that assures citizens that a repeat of the Greenbelt problems would not occur. Lire davantage

I am very opposed to the Special Economic Zones Act. It allows the Cabinet to create zones where any kind of project can be designated and exempted from any provincial law. There is no legislative oversight and even Provincial Parks are not excluded. Lire davantage
