The Special Economic Zones…

The Special Economic Zones Act is a worrisome proposal that lacks any sort of detail. It appears that the government intends to exempt projects from due process including those of municipalities in an attempt to "fuel the economy". In this capitalist society, legislation exists to tamper commercial aspects; without which we would live in poor health and a trammeled landscape. Municipalities continue to be knowledgeable of their locales and their oversight is important.
The proposal does not provide any limits on what may be designated a project nor the rules around it. It does not respect the rule of law.
The brevity of this proposal and aims of it lead me to think this act is rampant for corruption. "Reliable" and "trusted" proponents could easily be bought and the current government has not shown itself to be trustworthy.
This proposal does not respect local communities.
