I am very much opposed to Bill 5. It is unnecessary and dangerous! Taking the proper time to review environmental impacts, consult and involve Indigenous and other affected populations, do things diligently and with effective examination, is not red tape, it is intelligent process and ensures an outcome that is the least destructive and harmful. There are many lands already out there available for development. Focus on developing those. Leave farm and other environmentally important land alone. Once they are gone, you can’t get them back. And we will pay a heavy price for it in so many ways. Prioritize the future of our province, and all who live here, human and otherwise. Stop selling us out to rich developers and business interests. Yes, we have to grow but let’s do it responsibly. We owe that to our children and grandchildren and their children’s children. Doug Ford there are some things you do right, but the destructive selling off of valued green space, and things like Ontario Place and the Science Centre while I’m at it, are what you’ll be remembered for, and not in a good way. Please stop this Bill 5. Please.
