This proposal is short sighted at best and a malicious attack of the future residents of the city of Toronto at worst. While red tape does need to be cut to fast track development to make gains in the housing crisis, it should not be done at the expense of future-proofing our city against flooding and other environmental catastrophes. What a joke of a government this is.
