Building projects faster and better necessitate sufficient understanding of supporting infrastructure (transit, energy, water, stormwater management, sewage treatment…).

The recent Toronto planning department approval of the secondary plan for the Christie Site project in Humber Bay Shores did not include sufficient understanding of either existing infrastructure or the specific needs of the project for additional infrastructure.

Had this been part of the approval I would probably be more comfortable that the project will be built better and faster.
