I think that provincial park areas 1 and 2 in wasaga beach should not be transferred to ministry of tourism managed by the town of wasaga beach.
Ive been here all my life as did my parents and grandparents. We have watched the growth, experienced the change to provincial park in the 60s , refused to sell to lands and forest in the 70s when they were buying up cottage properties. Yes lived here and loved it..why? Peaceful, beautiful and natural.
We didn't cut trees, we preserved them. We didn't dig out the dunes for a better view, we preserved them, we did our part to keep the beach and water clean and natural . The beach was put into the hands of m.n.r for protection. Protection from the destructive hands of humans which is what will surely happen if the town gets there way.
Lets keep the beach natural and healthy for all to enjoy for generations to come.
