As much as tourism is good, I don’t think that Wasaga beach getting ownership of it would be okay.
Wasaga beach is disgusting as it is, I do not want a place like that taking ownership of a historic site.
Sometimes, calm in places like that is better. Consider the fact that the sudden change boosting its popularity could also affect the wildlife, and ruin the ecosystem thriving.
If investments is all that matters, come up with a new way to fix that.
