Safe housing is essential for dignity and wellbeing, affects mental health, and the lack leads people to poor choices personally and communally. This basic need is in tension with other priorities. However in our current communal reality, housing needs to be a priority as many other behaviors and conditions are a consequence of inadequate housing. Please do what is needed to make the Jamesville/James St. Project move forward NOW as a positive step to address this need.
