I do not think that spending $25M on Nancy Island is a good use of funds as I do not believe a return on investment will occur in any reasonable length of time.
I would prefer to see the money spent on the waterfront at Beach 1 as this is the reason tourists n locals go to Wasaga Beach.shops, restaurants, games, activities...very boardwalk-ish.
Please note that I am not discounting the historic importance of Nancy Island, but fiscally, our tax dollars have to work for us.
