The land under this proposal includes critical nesting habitat for the Piping Plover, which could be lost forever if this goes through. It’s one of the last remaining nesting grounds for the endangered Piping Plover in Ontario. These tiny shorebirds have made a fragile comeback since 2007, thanks to years of careful stewardship and protection.
Ontario is a huge province, please do development somewhere where there is no impact on endangered species.
