I very much oppose almost everything Doug Ford's government is doing. The Bill 5 is destroying any progress we have made towards making a safe environment for Canadians and our wild life. We are also the ENDANGERED SPECIES, because of how we are consuming our environment. The proposal to develop Wasaga Beach is only the latest example of our hubris. Laying pipelines across Canada is another very dangerous decision. The development of environmentally responsible energy, like wind, localized energy pockets, solar, geothermal, and prioritizing making all our buildings energy efficient and self-sustaining would be showing the wisdom needed to survive the climate changes already in evidence. Bill 5 also spears the democratic decisions of municipal councilors who are accountable to their constituents.
