I am totally against this…

I am totally against this change indicated by the proposal to amend provincial park status at Wasaga. No lands should be sold off or go under a management that does not seek to preserve the wildlife and nature that is already protected. You can see how one bird, the endangered piping plover, which struggles to find appropriate breeding ground as more and more of its breeding grounds are disappearing, would be totally compromised. The Piping plover will die out without exceptional protection of its breeding grounds. And that is only one small bird amongst many birds and animals and plants that need our complete protection. No more land should be sold off. Preserve what we have and do not encroach on what we have. Not in the name of consumerism and tourism. Make greater use of the land that is already in use. Don’t take land that will affect our birds and animals.
