Once provincial park oversight is removed, how can we be assured Piping Plover habitat will be protected? Given this government has repealed the Endangered Species Act, this incredibly rare and vital ecosystem is being put at perilous risk, which will almost assuredly result in collapse of Plover populations in Southern Ontario, effecting the web of life on the shoreline.
Please keep all existing Wasaga Beach Areas within the jurisdiction of provincial parks.
