As a resident of the Georgian Bay area, I am completely against the transfer and or sale of any of the provincial park lands in the area of Wasaga Beach, including the areas mentioned in the study above. We are already losing so much natural and public spaces to development, destroying natural habitat and driving away wildlife. The pressures on infrastructure, roads, traffic, and the environment are already at a breaking point. If parkland is sold, it can never be brought back. We need to keep what we have, as it is already too little.
