There must not be any legislative amendments to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006, or the Historical Parks Act without formalized and publicly announced consultation of all the appropriate expertise that has long standing association with the subject park, land, conservation area. Protections that have been written into any act have been written in for very good reasons and should not be removable independently by the government in power. This is especially true currently when climate change is a serious issue that presents severe challenges to wildlife even without mankind raiding their native living spaces for purely economic benefits.
Sincerely concerned,
Steve.
