Wasaga beach is an Ontario heritage. Moving it to the municipality would put stress on the municipality and this would impact the beach’s condition. Additionally this would open it up to the potential of being leased/sold out to private parties to raise funds for the city which would result in people of Ontario losing access to public spaces. This is an ill thought out plan that will deprive the people of Ontario from our heritage and deprive future generations.
