As a long time resident of Simcoe County and frequent visitor to Wasaga Beach I have many concerns regarding the proposed transfer of lands from the province to the town of Wasaga Beach. Is this a gift or a purchase?
Will the lands remain open to the public and accessible to all or will there be an option to develope the area for an elite few?
The Beach is a treasure and should be kept as open and accessible as possible to allow all the citizens of Ontario and our visitors to enjoy.
Much more information must be forthcoming before plunging ahead.
