This is an absolutely abhorrent proposal that will set a dangerous precedent for abrogating provincial park designated land, environmental regulations, and conservation initiatives down the line. There is no reason for this proposal beyond profit for a few wealthy individuals, and yet it will harm not only the delicate ecosystem that the provincial park conserves but also the public enjoyment of Ontario land. I strongly encourage all involved, from MPPs to those at the ERO to reject this proposal and maintain the integrity of Ontario parks, one of the most beautiful things that Ontario has to offer its residents, for this and future generations.
