Stating any qualifications or submitting supporting material should not be needed in a matter such as this.
This will set a very dangerous precedent if this bill is passed. The door will be open for other parks and environmentally protected areas to be “enhanced” for “tourism”. There is no enhancement in this. There is only money and greed.
Ford has been trying to allow the development of environmentally protected land for years now. It may generate profit in the short run, but in the long run we are destroying natural green spaces that are pivotal to ours and our children’s futures.
