As a permanent resident of Wasaga Beach, I am strongly against this proposal. I do not want our park land to be sold to developers. This risks the well being of the environment, including the wildlife that call these areas home. As someone who moved from Toronto to enjoy more green space, I am extremely disappointed with this proposal. I would really love to see more green space for residents & visitors to connect and enjoy the outdoors, such as areas for picnics, outdoor recreational equipment, like volleyball nets, tennis courts. I would like to continue enjoying living here, and having more untouched park land would greatly help with that.
