Wasaga beach accepts tourist as the longest fresh water beach, this proposal will destroy that. It will also make the little beach that remains too populated in the summer and uNusable for locals.
There are parts of beach 4,6,7 that barely have a sandy beach section, these parts are not as enjoyable to visit.
Beach 1 needs a facelift, no argument, something to attract more $ and make better use of the space. However, let’s leave it at that.
I moved here because I had a young daughter and want to enjoy the beach with her, I know many people with this same plan, removing untouched public beach access ruins this. It also ruins the home for pipers, something else my daughter likes going to see.
Remove the beach and you’ll be removing locals too, it’s the only thing we have.
