Wasaga beach is a…

Wasaga beach is a destination because of its long, largely undeveloped shoreline. Developing the shoreline will destroy critical wildlife habitat, as well as a natural buffer for weather events to the surrounding area. The local community MUST have the final say on this decision, and there also MUST be consultation with the Saugeen First Nation - the original caretakers of the land. The parks is a draw because it has been protected from development. Ontario's natural beauty is what shines the brightest. Don't cover it up.
There are other developed beachfronts in the GTA, Windsor, or Wasaga.
Let the Saugeen shores remain the way they are. There is land that could be developed that would have far less environmental and aesthetic impact.
