Wasaga beach already has an overload of tourists. "Enhancing" a beautiful natural area by destroying it so that tourists with a lot of money can have their own little piece is very short sighted. People need nature. Bird song is medically proven to be good for our health. Killing off a bird species that many people enjoy is not a sensible thing to do. Furthermore, as has already been proven by the wanton destruction of natural lands in Ontario place, removing healthy ecosystems invites nasty invaders like rats into the community. Our provincial parks are public lands, there for all of us to enjoy the beauty of nature, and should remain undisturbed as much as possible. Please don't destroy this public trust.
