I’m writing to express my opposition to the proposed sale and development of public land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.
Provincial parks are meant to protect nature, support biodiversity, and provide accessible green space for everyone, not to be sold off for private profit. It is unjust to restrict access to the our lands for the benefit of a few individuals. This will do nothing to improve our housing situation and only have negative impacts on the overall health of Ontarians.
I urge the Ontario government to keep Wasaga Beach public, protected, and undeveloped.
