While I support the initiative to hand over lands to the town I want to know what protections are in place to ensure:
Habitat protection
Dune protection
Ecologically sensitive area
What is in place to ensure that further reduction does not occur for this park? How and what oversight will the province do to e sure these occur.
What is in place to ensure other park lands (beaches 3,4,5,6) and the beach areas within Wasaga Beach Provincial Park are not in consideration now or in the future in the less developed areas of town?
This amendment needs to provide clarify to the above in clear and certain terms. As it is written not have these protections laid out. Please add them.
