I believe that this proposal will be detrimental to the ecosystems within Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. One of the main roles of provincial parks is to protect the ecosystem within it. Although Wasaga Beach is classified as a recreational park, there are still important plants, animals, and habitats within it that need to be protected. Removing multiple beaches from the park and increasing tourism will have a detrimental effect to the sand dunes on the beaches which provide habitats for animals and protect us from harsh wind and waves.

While I understand that increased tourism will bring in more money, I encourage you to consider the long term effects of this proposal and the damage it will do to the ecosystems within Wasaga Beach.
