This is a horrible proposal...Ontario needs to preserve more land, not less. Habitat loss is the biggest threat to wildlife and this is going to impact the the Piping Plover nesting grounds. Habitat loss like this cannot be mitigated. Maintain the entirety of the park. Do a favour for the planet rather than a favour for your developer friends. As a retired manager for MECP, I am both embarrassed and repulsed by this horrible proposal.
