I am concerned that the proposed changes will eliminate key safeguards designed to protect parklands. I am concerned that the changes will threaten the sensitive coastal dune systems. I am concerned that decisions will be made that prioritize short term economic development over the health of our ecosystem. I am concerned that the proposed changes will repeat across Ontario, dividing up and reducing park lands.
The parklands should remain within the Ontario Parks where they are protected.
