Shorebird species in general are declining worldwide at a precipitous rate. Piping Plovers are endangered, we could lose this species in the world completely without management. PLEASE do not transfer Wasaga Beach to the town and keep it within the protections of the province, or at the least make sure proper Piping Plover management rules are connected with this land transfer. Please continue to protect this beloved shorebird species and it's future for all the world.
