I am extremely concerned…

I am extremely concerned with the governments increased involvement in local affairs such as tourism. This should be left up to municipalities who are better equipped to understand the ways they wish to attract tourism into their jurisdiction. I am especially concerned with the proposed removal of “portions of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park to support the Town’s overall strategy for increased tourism and investment, including the removal of all of Beach Areas 1, 2, New Wasaga and Allenwood Beach. This does not encompass conservative values. The government should not be removing protected land for local tourism. Leave these areas alone. There are plenty of opportunities to improve tourism in other areas without these proposed changes. This is over-reaching. This not why the government was re-elected.
