This plan reflects greed and total disregard for our environmental impacts.
It’s not reflective of the Canada I know and love and makes future decisions around our parks and environmental areas more at risk of distraction.
This is the type of plan and decision making I’d expect of the current leadership in the US.
It’s clear to the public that these decisions line the pockets of our corrupt political system and have long lasting negative impacts without consequences for the few who benefit.
Wildlife is at risk - habitat disturbances
Natural shoreline is at risk - sand dune degradation
Increased human activity - pollution, traffic, noise and light pollution
Water pollution
The risk and negative impacts far outweigh the number any possible benefits. Politicians and their corrupt business partners shouldn’t be allowed to do this!
