On behalf of myself as an Ontario lawyer senior resident, I strongly oppose the idea of selling part of Wasaga provincial park presently being used as a nesting ground for endangered piping plovers and a playground for park visitors to build condos for the tourist industry and as country homes for rich city folk. I have visited this park and many other provincial parks with great pleasure in my over fifty years as an Ontario resident and municipal taxpayer in both Toronto and the city of Quinte west for skiing, biking and hiking and it is an absolute beauty with a stupendous beach and no bugs due to winds from the northwest blowing them away. It is also on the way to my timeshare at blue mountain. I don't downhill ski anymore but Collingwood is a great destination for other sports and is within driving distance of my principal residence here in Toronto. I think most Ontario residents would be horrified at the idea of selling off the best parts of our provincial parks for condos for rich people. Get real!
