I am deeply concerned about the proposal to transfer 60% of beachfront land from Ontario Parks to the Town of Wasaga. If this transfer happens, some of the most crucial piping plover habitat remaining in Ontario will be left with no legal protections, opening the door to development that could destroy vital habitats. I have long loved visiting Wasaga and seeing the incredible wildlife it hosts. Please keep this beachfront land under Ontario Parks.
