This change to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves is dangerous for the future of our province. We, as a people have always cherished nature and nature represented in the Ontario Provincial Parks. After COVID, people were asked by ECOS Research what they cherished most about their life in Canada. 98% said ‘Nature as the identity of Canada” and 87% said parks represented that identity. People care. Your constituent care.
Would you dare take one of the best beaches in the land and give it to developers. Let the rich live on the beach. There is so much wrong with that and smacks of Trumpism.
I’ve heard Mr Ford speak several times about his distant for nature. I hope someday he learns he is part of nature. His constituents care about nature and the few developers who don’t need to stick to developing in the city.
Do not change the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves. They are protected to keep us healthy, happy and proud to live in Ontario.
