I'm concerned about the protection and management of important Piping Plover habitat at Wasaga Beach. The Piping Plover is classified as an endangered species in Ontario under both the federal Species at Risk Act and the provincial Endangered Species Act, 2007.
Isn't it a bit too obvious that huge chunks of the province are being chopped to pieces only to get turned into either a playground for the rich or as a business favour to the highest bidder.
STOP SELLING OFF PUBLIC ASSETS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. Not the Greenbelt, not the Science Centre, not Ontario Place, not all the lands along the Hwy 413 route, and NOT WASAGA!
