I support the proposed transfer only if, the Town of Wasaga Beach is legally bound to keep ownership of the areas in perpetuity and not able to sell them off. I also am concerned that all current access routes (pathways, roadways) remain open to the public. There is currently issues with the Town of Wasaga Beach attempting to close access pathways to areas of Allenwood Beach because these pathways go between 2 homes. In various spots. One of the most contentious is a pathway that borders the CAO's parents property. Please make sure the beaches are still accessible through ALL the current routes.
