Hello,
I'm writing to strongly suggest recommend that the province of Ontario continue to preserve Piping Plover habitat on Wasaga beach. Funding needs to be committed to preserve these marvelous birds and with science-based research and oversight. Experts (like from Birds Canada) must be part of the ongoing process to keep this little creatures and their habitat safe and thriving. I'm concerned about any changes to the protection and management of the habitat at Wasaga beach. Provincial support is needed!
