Our children deserve to see the wildlife we grew up seeing. Through removing the provincial protections of Wasaga Beach, we leave the Piping Plover vulnerable to losing their habitat. Provincial support is key in helping to keep these birds thriving. If the province does want to transfer land then it would be great if they could include commitments to funding to protect, conserve, and care for Piping Plovers, their nests, and their habitats.
