It’s deeply saddening and disheartening that Ontario would consider giving up protected land like this. Once this land is lost you can never get it back. This will rob future generations of the ability to enjoy the beauty and destroy biodiversity. Piping Plovers will be gone again from Ontario, as their protection will be eliminated. Wasaga is already a major tourist attraction and extremely busy. Making protecting nature and Piping Plovers and key outcome of any decision this government makes by engaging experts.
