Giving away public land to a 'for profit' development is wrong. Public land should remain public. Although people are talking about improvements such as washrooms there is nothing stopping the Province from installing proper washrooms for the public to use.
If development of this site was seen to be in the best interest of the public then public money should be used to make it happen. That would be a wise investment.
The bottom line is that this is a big mistake. Don't do it.
