I was so disappointed to hear about the construction happening at such an important landmark in wasaga beach. This may seem silly because I am only 42, but wasaga was such a rich part of my childhood growing up in Brampton. We used to venture there as a family and then as teenagers to enjoy the sand and the water. And now, I bring my family. By changing this provincial park landmark and giving it over to a private, just for profit, business, we will lose so much history and adventure for this generation and generations after to enjoy and make their own memories with. Do we want their memories to be of nearby condos that strip the view of the beach, the private beach areas that take up so much room or restaurants that do not improve the natural areas only impede on it?
I would rather see local businesses, public access and water quality improvements to persevere our Canadian history and natural lifestyles rather than dimish it for profit.
