Though I don’t live in Ontario now, though I used to, I am worried about the future of Piping Plovers at Wasaga beach. This area should remain as parkland so that the Plovers can continue to be protected and conserved. I urge you to put in place a management plan and sufficent esources that:
* their habitat is not destroyed, prohibiting dune alteration, and protecting nests with fenced buffer zones and natural predator mitigations.
* provides adequate funding to carry out the aboe mitigation measures
* Engages experts to develop and implementation the plan.
