I do not support transferring Wasaga Beach from MECP to MTCG. My partner's family has a cottage at Wasaga beach, and we've been going there for a number of years, including living out there full time during the covid lockdowns. Much of the Georgian bay area is beautiful, endangered and needs to be protected. It's absolutely ridiculous in the face of increasing forest fires every year that any anti-preservationist movement is happening at all -- as if removing parts of the greenbelt wasn't bad enough. There are several more cost effective ways to increase tourism revenue that don't require this transfer, even disregarding the large amount of wasted money building an unpopular casino that won't attract people to the region.
