I fully support the proposed amendment to allow climbing at Devil’s Glen. Rock climbing, when managed responsibly, is entirely compatible with the park’s conservation goals. Climbers have a strong culture of stewardship — we follow Leave No Trace principles, protect sensitive habitats, and work closely with land managers to minimize environmental impact.

Allowing climbing at Devil’s Glen would not only provide safe, structured access to this unique natural area, but would also foster a community of engaged visitors who actively contribute to the park’s preservation. This proposal represents a positive step toward balancing recreation with conservation, and I encourage Ontario Parks to approve it.
